## Checking for Computer Setting

## Checking for Sony Camera Setting

### Sony Camera Setting – USB connection mode

Sony Camera will need to set the remote connection type under **USB Connect Mode** → **PC Remote**.

**Type 1 – Newer Version of the Sony Camera**

After connecting to the computer, the camera will automatically pop up the selection for the connecting option. Please select the remote control. (need the image pop up from the camera for selection)

**Type 2 – Older Version of the Sony Camera**

For the camera that has been released for a while, and does not support the newest system

Under the Setup → USB → USB Connection Mode → Select the **PC Remote.**

### Sony Camera Setting – Save the designated file location

Save to computer or “designated file location + Camera (save to both computer and camera)”

Need to set the picture file save location after connecting to the computer. Under Menu, go to **Network** → **Connection / PC Remote** → for **Remote Shoot Setting:**

* Still Img. Save Dest.: **Dest. + Camera** <mark style="color:red;">(Suggest)</mark>
* Save Image Size: **Original** <mark style="color:red;">(Must)</mark>
* RAW+J Save Image: **RAW & JPEG** <mark style="color:red;">(Suggest)</mark>
